Darra and Matt were such a great couple to work with- they both have such a positive energy and warmth which made their wedding a lot of fun to photograph. They are also very committed to local and environmental issues, so their outdoor wedding in Temescal Gateway Park reflected their ideals, from their colorful farmer’s market flower bouquets (designed by Meg of La Partie Events, who also did an amazing job coordinating the wedding), jewelry that Darra designed for her bridesmaids, down to the local honey they gave their guests.
You can always tell the priorities of the couple by the vendors they select and I have to say that the food was hands down the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding (and that’s saying a lot since I’ve photographed a ton of weddings). It was catered by Animal Restaurant and Huckleberry did their impressive dessert bar- all I can say is “Yum!!!”
